In a perfect world, everyone would know what the morning of your wedding would look like before you shop for your venue. But that just isn’t the case. Most brides focus on the ceremony and reception, relying on how they would prepare for a date night to getting ready the morning of their wedding, and this is far from what you will want to experience that day.
Be prepared to fall in love with the beautiful bridal suite during your tour and the thought of getting ready at your venue. Insert fairy tale princess vibes.
Unfortunately, those showing you the venue have no idea if there is enough seating for your guests, a place for their things, or enough time to get your bridal party ready. Their job is to book the location.
Who tells you how much time you need in your get-ready space? Sure would be nice to know that now, wouldn't it? It's your hair and makeup artist’s job. No one else’s. They know how much time they need to complete each service. This should not be dictated by anyone else! And boy, will you hear opinions on this.

Don't Wait....
The amount of planning you have put into your vision is incredible. The dress is the most important part of how you will feel on your wedding day, and a budget was set from the start. Knowing this was non-negotiable, it's how it makes you feel beautiful and how you imagined you would look when your partner first sees you. The venue sets the vibe, but your glam is what everyone sees first! It's in all of your photos; it will last for decades and is often not included in your budget.
Waiting until 2 to 3 months before your wedding. Big mistake! Here is why. There is not enough time to prepare your hair and skin for your best glam day ever. If you struggle with texture, acne, or large pores, this is all addressed months (8-6 months) before your wedding. Also, the closer you are to your wedding date, the smaller your budget is to work with, and you might have to settle for a less experienced artist, hoping they can create a Pinterest-worthy style. Yikes! Talk about stressful.

This is why you need to secure your hair and makeup artist early, before you book the bridal
suite, so you can start planning your wedding morning. By doing this, you will know if it is best to get ready at a nearby Airbnb, hotel, or private home. You can always add your bridal suite to your venue contract, but once you do, you can’t take it away, and that money is gone.
Let’s dive into more questions brides don’t know to ask.
