Why do I need extensions?

Many of the bridal hairstyles you see you see on Pinterest and social media are created with hair extensions. There is no way for us to make your hair look thick and full if it is not. There are so many reasons hair extensions are perfect for weddings. Let me explain.

  • I often hear "My hair never holds a curl and I am afraid my hairstyle will not last." This is where hair extensions come in. They support your natural hair, taking the weight off of the curls for a long lasting style. High quality hair extensions look natural and can blend flawlessly into your hair.

  • "I went in for a hair cut and they are moved to much length, now it won't look like I have been dreaming of for my wedding." No worries, You can blend extensions into your current haircut. The more experienced your artist is the more believable the blend.

  • "I have old hair color on the ends of my hair, I like the look but afraid it won't blend in for my wedding." When you're growing out your hair color and don't want to color your hair because you enjoy the look your hair has now, add extensions and blend the color, giving your hairstyle more dimension.

  • "My hair is damaged. My hair is thin. I have 4th trimester hair." no matter your hair challenge, with hair extensions, you have so many options.

What hairstyles need hair extensions?

  1. Hollywood waves are a fussy style that requires 1 to 2 sets of extensions for fullness and hold.

  2. Half-up, half-down hairstyles. Adding extensions extends the life of your hairstyle. Giving you that frizz-free photo moment where the back looks as good as the front.

  3. Buns, if you are lacking in fullness, a few extensions can be added to give your bun the shape you love.

  4. Updos. No matter if you are dreaming of a modern French twist, the Royal Bun that is piled high on the head, or something full and textured, adding a little extra hair might be the icing on the cake.

Have an open conversation with your stylist. Preferably, before booking them, you'll want to make sure they know how to safely and comfortably install and curl your extensions to avoid hair damage and extension damage.

If you are a TDM bride, you have the option of renting your extensions. Our collection of high-quality human hair in different hair textures is designed to blend in beautifully with your hair. Installation of extensions is always included for our brides.

Color blending and designing a custom look for you is our specialty. We even custom-create a set to add dimensional color, saving you hundreds of dollars in purchasing 2 sets. Just like the set pictured below. No guessing if you are purchasing the right color.

How to Rent and Reserve Your extensions:

The best way is an in-person appointment, we can talk over color and style options, then recommend your best options. We are based in Hillsboro, Oregon. You can schedule that appointment here.

Want your own set?

We are happy to match you with one of our luxury sets. Being able to see and feel the hair before you buy. In fact, if you rent a set and fall in love with them, you have the option to purchase them, and your rental fee is applied to the purchase.

I do have some recommendations if you want your own set. A more budget-friendly purchase than those I carry for my brides. They will still work perfectly for your wedding.
